Award Criteria for persons being nominated:

1. Must be over the age of 50
2. Must live or work in Culpeper, Fauquier, Madison, Orange or Rappahannock County in Virginia.
3. Has given freely in service to the community at large and civic affairs, and hence in some manner has made a significant contribution to the region. If not retired, this should be outside of their paid job, though it may include work-related highlights. 
4. Has offered inspiration in the form of mentorship, leadership, or action.
5. Remember that, though you may know your nominee well, the decision committee does not and it is up to you to give them enough information to encourage their choosing that person. If only a short paragraph is submitted with few details about who they are they will not be chosen.  The more details you can give, the better! 

NOMINATIONS ARE DUE BY 5:00PM, JANUARY 12, 2024. Submissions received after this date will not be considered.
